With the rapid development of information-oriented era,our military equipment development has become extremely important,and systematic equipment procurement and management system has become the basis of military equipment development. We analyzed the history of U.S. military equipment joint acquisition and management system and their main methods,summarized the general characteristics and rules of U. S. military equipment joint acquisition,to explore the development trend and management mode of our army equipment development,laying a solid foundation for the adaption to integrative joint operations and the improvement of battle effectiveness of our military equipment.
