Research on the Location and Development Strategy of Regional Science and Technology Libraries

[目的/意义]阐述区域科技图书馆的定位及其发展策略,为图书馆战略规划的进一步研究提供借鉴。[方法/过程]利用网络调研法和文献调研法对区域科技图书馆的概况和定位进行剖析、梳理和总结,并论述当前区域科技图书馆所面临的发展机遇和挑战。[结果/结论]区域科技图书馆的发展策略主要体现在知识服务、专业文献信息服务、创客空间服务、品牌建设、人才建设5个方面。

[Purpose/significance This paper aims at revealing the location and development strategy of regional science and technology libraries. [ Method/process ] It summarizes the overview and location of regional science and technology libraries, by the methods of network survey and literature survey. Meanwhile, the opportunities and challenges of regional science and technology libraries are discussed in this paper. [ Result/conclusion] The development strategy of regional science and technology libraries mainly concentrates on the following five aspects： knowledge service, professional literature information service, hackerspace service, brand -building and talent development.
