Process Research on Fiber Laser Welding of TC4 Titanium Alloy

摘要 针对厚度为2.5mm的TC4钛合金薄板,开展了光纤激光平板对接焊接实验。实验结果表明,在焊缝速度分别为1.8、2.4、3.0m/min及3.6m/min的条件下均可获得成形良好的焊接接头;当焊接速度一定时,随着激光功率的增加焊缝表面氧化程度增加,满足焊缝成形良好的激光功率选择范围较小,一般在300 W左右;焊缝内部存在少量气孔缺陷,气孔的数量随焊接速度的增加而减少;焊缝力学性能优良,拉伸试样均断裂于离焊缝中心较远的母材上。 Fiber laser plate butt welding was introduced to study the progress of TC4 titanium alloy with thickness of 2.5mm.The results indicated that good welded joint could be obtained as the welding speed were 1.8,2.4,3.0and 3.6m/min.The oxidation level was enhanced with laser power increasing while the welding speed remained the same.The range of laser power for good weld joint was small,usually around 300 W,a small amount of porosity defects within weld joint.Numbers of internal porosities obviously decreased with increasing welding speed.The weld joint showed good mechanical performance and fracture of all tensile samples were located within the base metal away from the center of weld joint.
