由出土的长沙马王堆汉墓帛书版《五行》及郭店楚简版《五行》的差异,可以判定子思的思想与道家之间存在一定程度的联系。由于各学派间的分化和对立,后世儒家学者对前辈产生了一定的误解。但与后世各家学派之间有目的、有计划的激烈斗争不同,儒家学派的初始成员对其他学说还是持一种包容和学习的态度。他们之间的误会,可归结为遭遇性的误会。而随着世新俗异、学派纷起,儒家被迫参与到各派的争鸣之中,并注意维护自身学说的权威性和强调自我继承的正统性。

From the difference of Mawangdui silk writing version unearthed in Changsha and Guodian bamboo slips version of Five Elements,we preliminary assure that there is a certain degree of relationship between Taoist and Zisi’s thought. Due to the differentiation and confrontation between the schools,the later Confucian scholars have some misunderstandings on the predecessors. But themisunderstandings are different to the later purposive and planned fierce battles happened among different schools,the initial members of Confucian school held a inclusive and learning attitude to other school theories. The misunderstanding between them, can be describe as a encounter misunderstanding. And as the new common vision and the rise of different schools,Confucianism was forced to participate into the schools of thought contend,and began to maintain their own authority and stress the legitimacy of self inheritance.
