摘要
后套木嘎遗址位于吉林大安市红岗子乡永合村西北约2公里的一处沙岗上,西南距安广镇约7公里,东北距月亮泡约5公里(图一)。
In 2011 and 2012, Research Center for Chinese Frontier Archaeology, Jilin University and Jilin Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology conducted excavation to the Houtaomuga Site, which recovered burials, ash pits, ash ditches, house foundations, etc., and unearthed artifacts including pottery wares and implements made of stone, bone, horn, shell and bronze. The remains of this site could be divided into seven phases, Phases I through IV of which are that of the Neolithic Age, Phases V and VI are that of the Zhou Dynasty and the latest stage of them might be as late as in the Han Dynasty; the remains of Phase VII belonged to the Liao Dynasty and the earlier time. This excavation identified two new archaeological remains, which are that of Phases I and III, and confirmed that cave tombs have appeared in the Hanshu Phase II Culture.
