摘要
语言是逻辑的,语言与推理之间的关系非常密切。推理是一种高级认知过程,是获取知识的一个重要手段,也是一种重要的阅读技能。从形式逻辑中的推理出发,基于课堂教学实践,结合实例重点分析英语阅读中的八种推理,概括英语阅读推理的性质,剖析常见的推理错误,并提出培养推理能力的若干实用步骤,旨在发展学生的创新思维、批判思维,促进英语教学。
Language is of logic and closely related with inference drawing. Drawing inferences is an ad-vanced cognition, a major means to obtain knowledge and an important reading skill as well. In light of the infer-ence drawing explored in formal logic, and based on classroom teaching practice, it exemplifies eight types of in-ference drawing in English reading, summarizes their common properties, analyzes frequent wrong inferencedrawing, and proposes a few pragmatic measures to build inferential capability with a final aim to developinglearners' creative and critical thinking as well as enhancing English teaching.
