Safe operation and main dam safety monitoring of Chengbihe Reservoir

分析了澄碧河水库大坝安全监测工作的具体内容和监测方法,论述了大坝安全监测资料的整编和分析工作及水库运行管理取得的成效。提出了强化水库大坝安全监测管理工作的建议。澄碧河水库1958年9月开工,1961年10月基本建成大坝和溢洪道等主体工程,是典型的边设计、边施工、边运行的"三边"工程,施工质量差,留下较多隐患。能够安全运行至今,是因为重视大坝安全监测工作,以连续、精准的监测以及对观测数据的分析为主要依据,为水库大坝安全运行提供管理保障。

The author analyzed the contents and methods of main dam safety monitoring of Chengbihe Reservoir; presented the organization and analysis of monitoring data as well as the achievements of operation management ; gave suggestions for strengthening main dam safety monitoring. Construction of Chengbihe Reservoir started in September of 1958. Major works including main dam and spillway were completed basically in October of 1961. As a typical project that was constructed concurrent with design and operation, construction quality is poor with much hidden danger. However, Chengbihe Reservoir has operated safely up to now due to taking seriously the main dam safety monitoring. Continuous and precise monitoring as well as analysis of observation data is the basis and guaran- tee of main dam safe operation.
