Analysis of a New Type of Engine Room Arrangement for Medium and Medium-sized Platform Supply Vessel

基于一型1 700DWT优化后电力推进的平台供应船,主要介绍这类船舶的作业特点,及适用于中小型平台供应船的新型机舱布置,并从船舶稳性、货物舱容、舒适性、造价等方面进行分析这种布置方案的优缺点。采用此类机舱布置方案的中小型电力推进平台供应船和常规电力推进中小型平台供应船相比,有以下优点:货物舱容大(增大经济效益);造价基本持平;货物处所与机舱处所分隔开,保证船舶安全性。

Basing on a type of 1 700 DWT diesel-electric platform supply vessel, the operation characteristics of platform supply vessel and a new type of engine room which is suitable for small and medium-sized platform supply vessel were introduced. The advantages and dis advantages of this new engine room arrangement were analyzed from the aspects of ship stability, cargo capacity, ship comfort, building cost and so on. Using this kind of engine room lay out of small and medium-sized diesel-electric PSV compared with the ordinary diesel-electric PSV, the following advantages can be obtained： bigger capacity （good economic benefits）, same budget and separated cargo space and engine room in order to guarantee the safety of the ship.
