On the Management Factors and Countermeasures in Graduates' Dissertation Quality Control

衡量研究生培养质量重要标准的学位论文,其质量综合反映了培养单位研究生的科研能力和学术水平。本文以学术型硕士学位论文质量管理为研究对象,对影响学位论文质量的管理因素进行了分析,并对提高学位论文质量的管理对策进行了研究。主要对策为:加强学位论文选题、开题、中检、评审和答辩等过程管理;建立学位论文评审申诉机制;建立导师遴选与聘任制度;建立激励政策;推行弹性学制,建立软淘汰制。

Dissertation quality is an essential criterion in measuring graduate education, reflecting a graduate＇s comprehensive scientific research ability and academic performance. This paper examined the quality of N University＇s dissertations for master＇s degree to explore management factors and countermeasures to control the dissertation quality in the aspects of strengthening process management in thesis selection, inspection, review and oral defense; establishing an appeal mechanism for dissertation review; building supervisor selection and appointment system; formulating incentive policies and soft knock-out system.
