美国早期儿童纵向研究项目ECLS-B特点

摘要 美国早期儿童纵向研究ECLS-B项目,是由美国教育部国家教育统计中心(NCES)于2001年联合多个部门和单位,采集了来自全美不同阶层家庭的13500名儿童,从出生一直跟踪到小学一年级的大型纵向儿童研究项目。该研究项目具有系统性、科学性、长效性等特点。其多部门参与,大样本长期跟踪,量化与质性方法相结合,开放性公共研究数据库建设等多方面的纵向研究经验,特别值得我国借鉴。 The Early Childhood Longitudinal Study- Birth Cohort(ECLS-B) launched by National Center for Education Statistics(NCES) together with a number of departments and units in 2001 investigated 13,500 zero-to-schoolaged children from varied classes of families in the US, therefore making it a systematic, scientific and long-term efficient project. It is worth referring to its cooperative work, samples track, quantitative and qualitative methods, open database.
