浅谈大学英语“EGP+ESP”教学模式

Introduction to College English “EGP + ESP” Teaching Mode

目前,我国高校大学公共英语教学多以通用英语EGP(English for General Purpose)为主,专业英语ESP(English for Specific Purpose)教学并未得到足够的重视。在融合型国际化时代,外语教学必然涉及ESP和EGP的融合性发展。就目前大学英语教学现状以及ESP的实用性价值进行了分析,旨在培养专业知识精湛并且语言运用能力过关的复合型人才。

At present,EGP（ English for General Purpose） is the most common English teaching in college English teaching in China,and ESP（ English for Specific Purpose） teaching has not been paid enough attention. In the era of international integration,the change of the target language in foreign language teaching must involve the integration of ESP and EGP. In this paper,the current situation of college English teaching and the practical value of ESP are analyzed,and the aim is to cultivate the compound talents with excellent professional knowledge and the ability to use English.
