Experience of professor WANG Shou-chuan in treating fever in children based on syndrome differentiation from eliminating pathogenic factor to strengthen vital qi

发热是儿科临床上最常见的症状之一,正确判断儿童发热的病因对于及时的辨证治疗意义重大。发热为邪正交争的反应,辨识邪正虚实消长是辨证论治发热的关键。文章就此总结汪受传教授治疗小儿发热的特色,并以其治疗急性扁桃体炎、暑邪感冒、泌尿系统感染的经验举例说明。

Fever is one of the most common clinical symptoms in pediatrics, so it is of great significance to find out the cause of fever and choose the appropriate treatments. Fever is the reaction of struggle between vital qi and pathogen, and the key of treatment based on syndrome differentiation of fever in children is the identification of waxing and waning of vital qi-pathogen and deficiency-excess. This article summarizes the clinical experience of Professor WANG Shou-chuan on treating fever in children according to different causes such as acute tonsillitis, summer-heat cold, urinary tract infection.
