Impacts of Foreign Household Food Waste Disposal Units on Surrounding Environment

简要分析了国外家用餐厨垃圾处理机的应用概况,从环境、能耗、水资源消耗、下水道系统、污水特性、温室气体排放等方面对餐厨垃圾处理机使用所产生的各类影响进行全面梳理分析。总结得出餐厨垃圾处理机是一种实用且相对廉价的餐厨垃圾处理方法,但其作为一种持久的垃圾处理方式使用前需要考虑水资源消耗等重要问题。

The applications of food waste disposal units（FWDs）in foreign households were briefly analyzed. From the aspects of environment,energy consumption,water consumption,sewerage system,wastewater characteristics and GHG emissions,etc.,all kinds of impacts from using FWDs were comprehensively summarized and analyzed. The conclusions were drawn that FWDs could be a practical and relatively inexpensive method for food waste treatment,however,some important factors like water consumption,etc.,should be considered before durable application.
