Wang Xiao-bo s The Tender Feelings That Be Like Water describes a survival situation of gays in China in the 1990 sin a little irony and ridiculous way.The work,like Ukiyoe,reveals gender relations between the gay couple---Alan and Xiao Shi,heterosexual hegemony and ＂the other＂ regulation and living circumstances of the Chinese gay in the 1990 s.Based on the narrative structure as the breakthrough point,the article uses the method of close reading and theoretical exposition to explore the gender of Alan and Xiao Shi---power relations and summarize the voice power of the Chinese gay and its living circumstances to the full,which can help readers have a better understanding of the book.
