医意论

Connotation of "Doctor's Mind"

在古代语境之中,意之本义只有两层意思:一是心意,用心去意察;二是意念,用心去意导。"医者意也",即医理与思维结合,用心察病审机用药,而非无原则的以意念诊病行医。个别文学家甚或个别医家所描述的以意想推导治病,也有其客观的事实基础,极少凭空捏造。以当今思维去理解,意即是医者的思维,即把临床收集的资料加以综合、归纳、推理的临床思辨过程。

There are two cases of the connotation of ＂ mind＂,in which one is ＂ thinking＂ and the other is ＂ idea＂. Therefore, ＂ doctor＇s mind＂ means the combination of the ＂ medical principle＂ and ＂ doctor＇s thinking or idea＂. However,a doctor usually carries out his work by serious and carefully examining the cause of a disease and the corresponding medicine with his objective ＂ thinking＂ but not his subjective ＂ idea＂. Even some descriptions of doctor＇s impulse or inspiration actually refer to the cases based on the medical observations. Therefore,the connotation of ＂ doctor＇ s mind＂ should be a dialectical clinical thinking process,during which all clinical data are collected,integrated,inducted and reasoned.
