美国汉学家朱莉叶·兰道英译的《春之外:宋词选集》是英语世界第一部宋词选集译本。《选集》的译本体例融合了兰道汉学家的学术关怀,译者从英汉语言差异出发,在翻译实践中呈现出宋词的文体特质、文学审美与文化内涵。20余年来,兰道的宋词译本流传极广,遍及全球四大洲,并引起了学界的广泛关注,成为中国古典诗词走向世界的经典译著。

In the English world,the first translated anthology of the Soong lyrics is Beyond Spring：T′zu Poems of the Sung Dynasty by American sinologist Julie Landau.Landau′s rendered version takes on the academic feature of sinology.From the linguistic difference between Chinese and English,her translations convey the stylistic traits,literary aesthetics and cultural connation of the original lyrics.In the past two decades and more,Landau′s translated anthology has been disseminated into four continents,noted widely by international academia,and actually grown into one classic translation of ancient Chinese poetry.
