This paper introduces the 80 years history of fluorescent lighting technology. The breakthrough of two technical innovations achieved in the previous 60 years and following 20, and the technical results obtained proved that the advantages of fluorescent lighting in the lighting field still exist, especially the high light transmittance spheres fluorescent industrial lighting area has great market potential.
