近年来,ESP课程逐渐进入人们的视野并得到广泛应用,该课程主要目标和高职高专英语的教学目标一致,都是为了培养学生所学专业领域的英语应用能力。从高职高专英语教学的现状出发,探讨在高职高专英语教学中引入ESP课程的必要性,并从ESP课程设置、以生为本理念、课程教材编制和教师自身素质等方面,阐述如何将ESP课程引入高职高专英语教学。

ESP courses have been widely used in recent years.This essay,starting from the current situation of the English teaching in higher vocational colleges,discusses the necessity of the introduction of ESP courses,and ex-pounds how to introduce them on the basis of curriculum provision,student-centered theory,curriculum develop-ment and teaching staff construction.
