基于需求分析的应用型高校大学英语课程定位与设置研究

摘要 选取应用型高校在校生、毕业生、大学英语教师和目标用人单位为研究对象进行需求分析,认为目前应用型高校学生有三方面问题:迫切需要提升听说技能;学生需要学习与专业相关的英语课程;用人单位强调与工作相关的外语能力。针对此需求提出大学英语课程定位和设置方案,主要包括:根据学生水平进行分层次教学;根据学生专业需求和目标用人单位的需求设置ESP课程;开设跨文化交际课程。 Taking a university as a case study,this paper has conducted a need analysis among college students,graduate students,college English teachers,graduated students and target employers concerning College English curriculum. The result shows that students are eager to improve their listening and speaking skills,and both students and the target employers emphasize the English competence related to their profession. Therefore,the English curriculum should be designed in layered teaching and integrate ESP and cross-cultural communication courses as a whole.
