The Economic Development Strategy of Qatar and the Building of “the Belt and Road”

近年来,卡塔尔积极实施经济多元化发展战略,包括以油气和石化产业带动非石油产业迅速发展,以举办国际赛事提升国家软实力等措施。卡塔尔经济显现出超越以往的发展势头和良好的投资环境,能够为中卡两国共建"一带一路"提供重要保障。本文认为,中卡两国在"一带一路"的建设过程中,应着力打造能源(天然气)领域、金融领域和基础设施领域的互联互通,并加强包括非洲国家在内的三方合作,实现互利共赢。

In recent years, Qatar is actively implementing the strategy of economic diversification,including developing oil and gas industries as driving forces to promote the rapid development of non-oil sectors,as w ell as organizing international events to enhance its soft pow er.Economy of Qatar has already show n a healthy development trend and attractive investment environment,w hich makes it possible for providing an important guarantee for the bilateral building of'the Belt and Road'. In the future,the cooperation between China and Qatar should focus on energy( especially natural gas),financial as well as infrastructure fields,and strengthen tripartite cooperation in order to achieve mutual benefit and w in-w in development during the building of 'the Belt and Road'
