Progress in relationship between long non-coding RNAs and gastric cancer

摘要 长链非编码RNA(lncRNA)是一类长度超过200核苷酸的调节性非编码RNA,它通过在表观遗传学、转录和转录后等多个层面调控基因表达过程,从而影响细胞的增殖、分化及凋亡。研究证实, lncRNA在胃癌细胞中异常表达,与胃癌的发生、发展及预后密切相关。文章在介绍lncRNA基本概念的基础上,结合国内外研究现状,对lncRNA在胃癌中的作用、调控机制以及在诊断和治疗中的潜在价值进行综述。 Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are a group of regulatory and non-coding RNA molecules which are longer than 200 nucleotides. They are involved in a variety of biological processes such as cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis mainly by regulation of gene expression at various levels, including epigenetics, transcription and post-transcription. The evidence has demonstrated that many lncRNAs are dysregulated and closely related to tumorigenesis, progression and prognosis in gastric cancer. Based on an introduction to lncRNAs and the domestic and foreign research status, this review summarizes the function, regulatory mechanisms, potential diagnostic and therapeutic values of lncRNAs in gastric cancer.
