毕沅《经典文字辨证书》字类理念及学术价值

On the Character Concept and Academic Value of Bi Yuan's Classic Text Syndrome Differentiation

清代学者毕沅集经学家、史学家、金石考据学家于一身。毕氏以《说文》为宗收录传世文献中出现的经典文字,作《经典文字辨证书》五卷。全书将所收之字分为正、省、通、别、俗五类加以辨析。该书具有颇高的学术价值:一是辨证文字,归纳用字规律;二是涵盖经典文献丰富多样;三是辨析传世经典字形与《说文》字形的差异。为文字学研究提供了丰富的材料依据。

Bi Yuan was a classics scholar,historian and Jinshi textual criticismof the Qing Dynasty. He collected classic text from ＂Shuowen＂and created fivescrolls of Classic Text Syndrome Differentiation. The book divided the text into five categories of＂Zheng,Sheng,Tong,Bie,Shu＂,and differentiated them. It is of high academic value,reflecting in differentiating text and summing up their rules of use,covering a variety of classic literature,and analyzing their character differences with the ones in＂Shuowen＂,which provided rich materials for the study of Philology.
