LR-PON中混合调度自适应多线程轮询算法

Hybrid-scheduling adaptive multi-thread polling algorithm for long reach passive optical networks

摘要 针对长距离无源光网络(LR-PON)覆盖范围广、环路时延大的特点,提出一种混合调度的自适应多线程轮询算法(HS-AMTP)。该算法中OLT采用在线授权调度和离线授权调度相结合的混合调度方式,并根据ONU的带宽请求动态调整轮询周期内对ONU的授权次数。仿真结果表明:HS-AMTP算法能有效提高上行带宽利用率和平均包时延性能。 A hybrid-scheduling adaptive multi-thread polling algorithm (HS-AMTP) has been proposed for long reach passive optical networks (LR-PON) with considerable round trip time and wide coverage. In HS-AMTP, OLT works on a hybrid grant scheduling scheme with an integrated consideration of online scheduling scheme and offline scheduling scheme. Besides, HS-AMTP can adjust the number of polling dy- namically according to the bandwidth requirements from ONUs. Simulation results show that the proposed al- gorithm can achieve higher upstream channel utilization and lower average packet delay compared with the existing algorithms.
