城市现代建筑遗产周边环境的保护与整治——以北京民族文化宫为例

The Protection and Renovation of the Surrounding Environment of an Urban Architectural Heritage——A Case Study of the Cultural Palace of Nationalities in Beijing

建筑和环境是一个不可分割的整体,环境对建筑而言不可或缺,对建筑遗产亦是如此。城市建筑遗产的周边环境对城市历史的保护和环境的塑造有重要的意义。现代建筑遗产往往容易被我们忽视,其周边环境的保护和整治工作更是具有一定的特殊性。本文以北京民族文化宫为例,对城市现代建筑遗产周边环境的特点和当前现状等方面做出一定的总结和分析,同时对其保护和整治工作提出建议和参考。

Architecture and its environment is an indivisible whole. The quality of the environment is essential to not only architecture but also to architectural heritage. Furthermore, urban architectural heritage＇s surrounding environment plays important roles in protecting its history and in shaping its future urban context. Academically, research on Chinese modern architectural heritage is relatively a new field that would easily be ignored, needless to say that the protection of its surrounding environment has certain particularities. This paper, taking the Cultural Palace of Nationalities in Beijing as an example, analyzes the characteristics and the status of its surrounding environment and puts forward suggestions for references on contextual protection and renovation.
