Using Evaluation to Promote Construction and Combining Valuation with Construction to Ensure the Healthy Development of Non-government Higher Schools

加强民办高校的评估工作,是促进民办学校全面提高办学水平和教育质量的重要举措。本文总结了北京市教委专家组对100所民办高校和中外合作高等教育机构进行教育教学评估中所发现的问题,指出民办高校评估工作要纳入制度化、法制化的轨道,贯彻"以评促建,评建结合"的原则,促进民办高校以规模求效益,以管理求质量,以特色求发展,以名牌求声誉。

It is an important measure that entirely promotes the school-running level and educational quality of non-government higher schools to strengthen the evaluating work of non-government higher schools.Based on summarizing the problems that Beijing City Educational Commission expert group has found out in the evaluation of non-gov ernment higher schools and the institutions of higher education co-operated by China and foreign countries,the article puts forward that the evalu ating work of non-govern-ment higher school should go along the track of systemization and legaliza tion,implement the principle of'using evaluation to promote construction and combining evaluation with construction'to make non-gov-ernment use a scale to strive for an effect,use management to strive for quality and use famous brand to strive for prestige.
