This paper reveals the progress and meaning of virus-free strawberry seedlings obtained by tissue culture and reviews various factors that effects the anther culture effect including genotype,basic culture medium and plant hormone combinations and so on. Analysis of the problems in regeneration of virus-free seedlings by anther culture and prospect of this technology are also presented.
