Analysis on Modeling Characteristic of Stool Furniture in Ming and Qing Dynasties

以中国明清时期的坐凳类家具作为探讨研究的对象,从凳类家具的凳面、腿足的造型以及装饰内容展开论述。通过对凳子各个部件造型、样式的考察,获得了凳类家具的一般性特征,从而为古代凳类家具的深入研究准备了相应的依据,也为此后中式家具的设计制作提供了某种参考。

The paper explores and researches the ancient stool furniture in Ming and Qing dynasties and discusses its modeling characteristic from 3 aspects：its surface, the modeling of its legs and feet and the decoration. It summarizes the general characteristics of stool furniture through researches on the modeling and pattern of its different components.Thus,it provides theoretical basis for intensive research on ancient stool furniture and a reference to the design of Chinese-style furniture.
