牛津大学珍贵档案的开发、开放与利用研究

The Exploitation, Opening and Utilization of Oxford University's Precious Archives

基于牛津大学图书馆、档案馆网站,对其珍贵档案工作开展了深入的调查和研究。概括介绍珍贵档案发展起源,论述了该校在珍贵档案整理分类、开发研究、价值鉴定、开放阅览、宣传展示与利用上的措施与方法,阐述我国高校档案馆在上述方面受到的启发,提出了扩大馆藏范围,调整馆藏发展政策;协同开展珍贵档案开发与研究;用户参与珍贵档案鉴定与评价、利用网络和现代技术优势,创新宣传展览方式,传播档案文化等具体建议。

Investigation and research about precious archives in Oxford University is conducted in this paper based on its library website. We generalized their work in several parts including the origin of the precious archives, the measures and methods in archives classifying, developing research, evaluating, opening, propagandizing and utilizing. Then reflection on the work by Chinese archives of colleges and universities is illustrated, and some concrete suggestions are made： expand collection range, adjust our policies, cooperate in developing and studying archives throughout colleges, participate in evaluation and appraisement of the precious archives by users, make use of internet and modem technology advantages, innovate publicizing and exhibiting ways, and spread culture of archives.
