Biased University History: Political Power Behind Exhibition of University History

大学校史馆是大学保存自身记忆和展示自身记忆的地方,但是正如所有的博物馆一样,对于历史事件以及历史文物的选择,则是展示场馆一直存在的问题。本文通过比较上海交通大学和新竹交通大学的校史馆,来探究校史展览之中历史之外的因素,探究国家和社会变动对学校历史数据的选择和展示方式的影响。

University history museum is a place for preservation and exhibition of the university＇s memory. However, as all museums in the world, the selection of historical events and documents is always a problem. This paper compares the university history museums of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and National Chiao Tung University in Hsinchu to discover factors beyond history itself and uncover the influence from nation and society on the selection of university history data and exhibition mode.
