美国大学教师发展:理念嬗变与发展前景——基于多元文化价值取向视角

摘要 在多元文化社会背景下,如何发展大学教师队伍、提高高等教育质量成为美国大学教师发展的核心议题。文章以多元文化价值取向为视角,通过历史比较法,纵观美国大学教师发展理念的嬗变,并进一步探讨其发展的经济来源、发展类型与大学文化的关系,在此基础上展望其发展趋向:多元、开放和全面。这不仅有利于全方位地认识和理解美国大学教师发展的核心价值,也对我国大学教师发展具有十分重要的借鉴意义。 In multi-cultural society,it has become a core issue for American faculty development to promote faculty development and to improve the quality of higher education. In the perspective of multi-cultural values and by adopting the research method of historical comparison,the paper analyses the changes of American faculty development concepts,further discusses the relation between economical resources,types of development and university culture,and based on these explores its development prospects as diversity,openness and entirety. This is not only beneficial to the comprehensive understanding on the core values of American faculty development,but also important for the faculty development of China.
