摘要
高校已进入质量目标导向的内涵式发展时期,人才培养质量的高低关键在于教师。本文基于对目前高校英语教师现状的分析和面临的挑战,从合格教师的内在构成出发,提出了构成合格英语教师规格的三大核心素质,即道德素质、专业素质和职业素质。具体而言,道德素质指英语教师应必备的品行修养,专业素质指英语教师应必备的系统专业知识,职业素质指英语教师应必备的从业能力。在此基础上围绕这三大核心素质阐述了如何建构问题。
Universities and colleges in China have entered into a quality-oriented development period in which teachers play a crucial role in determining the education quality. This paper puts forward a specification of three kernel elements for a qualified teacher from the perspective of its internal constitution,namely,moral quality,professional quality and career quality,based on the analysis of the current status of English teachers as well as the challenge they confront in universities and colleges. To be specific,moral quality is defined as the good character that an English teacher should possess,professional quality as the systematic professional knowledge that an English teacher should be equipped with,and career quality as the capability that an English teacher acquires to develop his or her profession. Then it further elaborates on how these qualities are constructed.
