Analysis on Refugee Crisis and Language Planning

From the perspective of language ideology,this paper probes into the differences among the language and religious belief and polyfunctionality of language,such as communication,job-bunting,education,identity and integration,so as to analyze the motivations in language planning.Based on the discussion and a case study of European Union,it is assumed that the refugee importing countries should take effective and sustainable measures like conducting language needs investigation and analysis,as well as developing appropriate language policies for refugees.
