Rental Time Length Distribution Characteristics of Public Bicycle

摘要 公共自行车是城市公共交通系统的重要组成部分,并在许多城市进行了推广使用。本文以宁波市公共自行车租赁系统10个工作目的租赁时长为样本数据,通过PP图和K-S检验方法,得出公共自行车租赁时长整体服从对数正态分布,且均值μ为2.46、标准差σ2为0.84。在此基础上,得出了租赁时长分布的峰值为6min,25%位分布值为6min,75%位分布值为22min,即公共自行车租赁时长有一半的样本值落在6-22分钟之间。本文的研究成果将为公共自行车系统的规划、建设和运营管理提供重要的理论支撑。 Public bicycle is an important part of a urban public transport system, and has been promoted and used in many cities. This paper examined the length data of the public bicycle rental time during 10 work days. After applied the data to PP plot and K-S testing method, we found that the rental time lengths of Ningbo public bicycle generally followed a log-normal distribution, with a mean value of 2.46 and a standard deviation σ2 of 0.84. The results also show that the peak value of the distribution is 6minutes, and its 25thand75thpercentile values are 6 minutes and 22 minutes respectively. This indicates that over half of the sample points lie between 6 and 22 minutes. The findings of this paper help to provide an important theoretical support to planning, constructing, and managing of a public bicycle system.
