Learning about Chen Xin Taijiquan Research

陈鑫生前完成的《太极拳图画讲义》在其逝世六年后被收录在陈绩甫《陈氏太极拳汇宗》一书中,并于1935年出版问世。关于该书的理论意义和学术价值至今学界少有研究和评价。但是,经陈椿元等参与整理、修订和补写的,却以陈鑫名义在1933年出版的《陈氏太极拳图说》则长期被学界奉为太极拳史上的经典。研究发现,《太极拳图画讲义》较客观地表述了陈家沟拳家对清代晚期至民国初期陈派(氏)太极拳发展的历史和技术特点,代表和反映了陈鑫基本的学术思想和观点。由于《陈氏太极拳图说》存在较多的附会和编造材料,因而与《太极拳图画讲义》存在明显的文献价值和理论水平上的差距。

The Taijiquan Drawing Handouts,finished by chen xin before his death,was included in the book of Chen Taijiquan Tntegration,which was published in 1935 when Chen Xin had been died for six years.Nowa-days,there are few scholars concerned with the theoretical and academic value of the Taijiquan Drawing Hand-outs.But the Illustrated Treatment of The Chen Style Taijiquan ,was consolidated、revisionary、repaired by Chen Chunyuan,etc and was published with the name of Chen Xin in 1933,which was regarded as a classic book for the history of Chen Style Taijiqun all the time.Research found that,The Taijiquan Drawing Handouts is more objectively presented the history of development and the technical features of the chen style Taijiquan of Chenjiagou in the Late of Qing dynasty to the early period of the Republic of China,so it truly represents the Chen Xin＇s basic academic ideas.On account of some farfetched analogy and fabricated materials,there is a huge gap between the illustrated treatment of Chen style Tajquan and the Tajiquan Dracving Handouts.
