《玉楼梦》是朝鲜古代小说的集大成之作,内具多元的主题及丰富的元素。其在妻妾形象的塑造上取得了很高的艺术成就,这些鲜活的妻妾形象具有深刻思想内涵,富有明显的时代特色。通过分析可以看出《玉楼梦》"妻"的形象特点主要体现在一夫多妻的家庭格局中,以"情"抗"理"的挣扎与矛盾之中;《玉楼梦》中对"妾"有着近乎完美的诠释,她们或为侠肝义胆的巾帼英雄,或为贤良淑德的才女,或为英勇聪慧的淑女。通过《玉楼梦》中的妻妾形象可以看出时代思潮下作者对封建社会不合理制度既有锐意改革的愿望,又无法完全脱离封建思想禁锢的矛盾心理,显现出强大的传统思想与朦胧的新思想相互交错与碰撞的时代特点。

As a novel agglomeration of ancient Korea,Yulou Dream consists of multiple themes and rich elements. It makes great artistic achievements in shaping the images of wives and concubines,which have deep ideological implication and clear characteristics of the times. The wife images are characterized with the struggle and contradiction to fight reason with affection in a polygamous family. The concubine images in Yulou Dream are mostly perfect as heroines,talented women or gentlewomen. Form these images,we can find the author＇s ambivalence that the wanted to reform the unreasouable system of the fendal society,but he was unable to extricate himself from the fendal thought,which showing the characterictics fo the times when the powerful traditional ideology intendeed with the indistinct new ideas.
