拱作为明代嘉、隆、万时期的著名思想家和哲学家,他的学术活动和思想发展大致可划分为四期,即奠基期、发展期、实践期和构筑体系期。现综合明清相关史料和高拱著述文献,对其学术四期加以初步梳理,以凸显他在明代学术史和思想史上的重要贡献。

Gao Gong was a famous thinker and philosopher in the Jiajing,Longqing and Wanli periods of the Ming Dynasty. His academic activities and thought development can be roughly divided into four periods as foundation,development,practice and systematic formation phases. In this study,according to related historical materials and Gao Gong＇s writings,the author sorts up Gao Gong＇s academic activities,thus highlighting his important achievements in academic history and intellectual history.
