Xu Fuguan's Theory about Mencius Idea on Human Nature

孟子人性论学说是先秦儒家政治思想的哲学基础,在中国两千多年的政治思想史上发挥着极其重要的作用。第二代新儒家的杰出代表徐复观先生对孟子人性论学说提出独特的观点,指出孟子创立了性善论,以心善作为性善的根据,并最终实现了从"性"到"心"的回归,完成了心性的统一。

Mencius idea on human nature is the philosophical basis of Confucian political thought,which plays an extremely important role in the two thousand years of political thought history in China. Xu Fuguan,an outstanding representative of the second generation of new Confucianism,brought a unique perspective about Mencius human nature doctrine and suggested that Mencius created the doctrine of good human nature,which took the good human mind as the basement of the good human nature,ultimately made the return from the ＂nature ＂to the＂mind＂,and finally completed the unity of the human mind and the human nature.
