A Study on Comprehensive Art Form of Munauzumgo

目瑙纵歌是景颇族的大型祭祀活动,也是最盛大最隆重的民间节日。目瑙纵歌集中体现了景颇族的传统文化,是景颇族原始宗教、口头文学、诗歌、音乐、舞蹈、雕刻与绘画的现代呈现。以民族文化的角度探究目瑙纵歌的综合艺术形态,可以窥见景颇族的传统文化蕴藏浓郁的原始宗教色彩。

Munauzumgo is a large sacrifi cial festival of the Jinghpo nationality, and is the grandest folk festival. Munauzumgo embodies Jinghpo＇s traditional culture and is the modern presentation of Jinghpo＇s primitive religion, oral literature, poetry, music, dance, sculpture and painting. We can get a glimpse of the Jinghpo＇s traditional culture which contains rich color of primitive religion by studying comprehensive art form of Munauzumgo from the perspective of ethnic culture.
