本科毕业论文是学生在本科阶段所学专业知识的一次综合检验。目前地理专业学生论文写作中存在材料综述类论文比例偏高,实验工作量偏小,数据、图表少;研究内容缺乏系统性,结论的说服力不强;论文表述专业性不强,口语化现象很明显;论文的创新性不强;所引用最新参考文献偏少等诸多问题。因此,应通过增加实验类选题数量,在日常教学中培养学生分析思考能力,开展主题讨论与资料查阅,科技小论文写作等日常能力训练,鼓励学生参与大学生创业创新训练计划项目与教师科研项目工作,适当提前毕业论文写作时间等途径,提高毕业论文写作质量,提升教育教学质量。

Thesis for bachelor ＇s degree is a comprehensive test ,by which students’ professional knowledge during undergradu-ate education can be checked. Currently the students who have majored in geography are confronted with many issues in their paper writings,such as high ratio of review paper,little experimental workload,less data and charts; the studies are lack of systematicness and the conclusions lack in strong persuasion; the language of articles is not professional enough and the phenomenon of spoken language occurs frequently; there is little innovation and less references in the papers, etc. Therefore by increasing the number of experimental topics, students,who can be cultivated to have the ability to analyze and think in the daily teaching,are trained to carry out theme discussions and science paper writing and consult information. Moreover,students should be encouraged to participate in college students’ entrepreneurial innovation projects and teachers’ research projects and to prepare for graduation thesis in advance, so that the quality of papers and education and teaching will be greatly improved.
