摘要
以中国学习者语料库为基础,从图形背景认知的视角考察了中国英语学习者的英语存现句习得情况,分析了英汉图形背景不同认知对学习者写作的影响。通过研究分析学习者写作中的实例发现因受到汉语思维的影响,学生的英语存现句中出现了大量的"There+have+NP"用法以及"There+be+NP"结构,这说明学生在空间关系表达上没有摆脱汉语思维的影响,严重制约了学习者英语水平的提高。
Based on the data from Chinese Learner English Corpus, the acquisition of existential construction by learners of English has been investigated under the perspective of the Figure-Grounding theory. It also analyzes the two different cognitive Fig-ure-Grounding of English and Chinese and its influences on learners' writing. It is found after intensive analysis of examples that two ill forms of the construction exist in students’ writing: “There + have + NP” and“ There+ be+NP” , which owes to the influence from Chinese. The results indicate that students’ expression of spacial relation is still under the strong influence of Chinese, which would stand in the way of the development of students ’ English proficiency.
