摘要
毛泽东心目中的关羽,既有义、智、忠、勇等高大形象,也有孤傲自大、不懂统一战线、大意等负面形象。毛泽东认为关羽的高大形象是统治阶级吹出来的。毛泽东心目中的关羽形象,主要不是基于史实而是基于演义,是掺和了正史与野史中有关关羽的记载。他以说明问题为主要目的,并未纠缠于史料的真伪。
In Mao Zedong＇s mind,the image of Guan Yu embodies righteousness,wisdom,loyalty and bravery as well as loftiness,ignorance of unity and carelessness. Mao Zedong thought it was the ruling class who built up the positive image of Guan Yu. To illustrate problems,Mao Zedong didn＇t dwell on the authenticity of the historical data; he based his idea of the image of Guan Yu on historical romances rather than historical facts,the former of which were actually official and unofficial accounts of Guan Yu.
