《歙事闲谭》中一则关于东晋时期"新安人歌舞离别之辞"的历史记载,被认为是徽商产生于东晋的依据。然而,追寻此则史料的源头及其背后的历史事实,则发现史料中的"新安"与徽州及徽商并无直接联系。此则史料与徽州联系的建立及其所载内容被归入徽州风俗的一部分,有一个历史过程,其背后反映的则是徽州地方社会的变迁。

There was a historical record in She Shi Xian Tan about a the words about Xin＇ an people dancing and partingr, in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It was considered to be the basis that Huizhou merchants generated in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. However,this Xin,an was no direct contact with the Huizhou and its merchants behind searching for the source of historical da-ta and facts. It was a historical process that establishing a relationship between this record and Huizhou and its content becom-ing a part of Huizhou customs in history. Of course,the process reflected the translation of Huizhou local society.
