In contemporary China, Chinese aesthetic mood is in stepwise regression. In landscape design practice, it is reflected from thereturn to traditional Chinese landscape development and then to find their own area of contemporary landscape. In this paper, SuzhouGreenland Villa project is taken as an example to explain the process of thinking and practice in today＇s design practice. The designcomes back to the contemporary moment, emphasizes regional culture and spirit, and chooses the present Suzhou to find answers.
