This paper aims to diagnose and analyze the Toyota Vios’s fault of lack of power occasionally or accelerationweakness caused by the throttle position sensor. It analyzes the working principle of the throttle position sensor andelaborates the fault. The fault was analyzed and removed using the electronic equipment. It is hoped that this could be usefulto the majority of first-line maintenance staff.
