The Changes of Intellectual Property Management and Protection in the Era of Big Data in China

"大数据"时代已经到来,发达国家多已进行政府大数据管理,我国政府也应把握这一机遇,尤其是在信息数据资源急速增长的知识产权领域。经济发展和科技不断进步,使商标、专利等数据激增,知识产权目前的管理和保护技术、水平已无法满足要求。借鉴西方发达国家知识产权大数据的相关经验,通过加强数据整合与开放、建立完善相关技术和制度等一些措施,增强知识产权相关部门的大数据水平,进而促进经济发展和技术创新。

The age of big data has come. Developed countries have carried out government managementof big data. Chinese government should also take this opportunity, especially in the field of intellectual property,where the information data is increasing drastically. The present IP management and protection skills andlevel is unable to satisfy the demands of enterprises and people. Our weakness in this regard can be amendedby borrowing experiences of IP big data management and protection in developed western countries. Bystrengthening data integration and opening them up, as well as constructing and improving relevant technologyand institutions, try to elevate the big data level in relevant IP department concerned, and then promote economicdevelopment and technology innovation.
