A Survey of Content-based Image Retrieval

综述了基于内容图像检索领域中特征提取技术、多维索引与图像分类技术的研究成果 ,介绍了几个有特色的基于内容图像检索系统 ,最后提出了这一领域尚存在的问题和未来发展方向。

In this paper, we provide a survey of the technical achievements for feature extraction,multi dimensional indexing and image classificaiton in the research area of Content based Image Retrieval. then we introduce some distinctive CBIR systems. At last we put forward the problems in this field and suggest the directions of future development.
