从事英诗汉译的人须两种语言都要过硬,并具有深厚的诗学造诣,千方百计地捕获英诗中的各种相似性手段,而后在成型的汉诗中或运用或变通,以达到与原诗相似的艺术效果。译者可用自己喜欢的句式,自如而又充分地表达原诗诗意。对于诗体,译者不要按图索骥,削足适履。
