土楼是客家文化的象征,传承着客家人的历史文化和族群记忆。本文从"天人合一"的建筑理念、"聚族而居"的生活模式、"耕读传家"的宗法秩序等三方面对闽西客家土楼建筑文化进行探讨。通过对土楼面临的困境分析,提出客家土楼在现代化进程中保护、传承和发展的措施,探讨中国传统建筑在城镇化进程中保护和发展的途径与方式。

Earthen Building is a symbol of Hakka culture, inheriting its history and culture and ethnic memory. This paper discusses Hakka Earthen Building from the following aspects： the architectural concept heaven-men unity, the lifestyle of living together, and the patriarchal order of part-time learning. Through the analysis which proposes measures for protection, heritage, and development of Hakka Earthen Building in the process of modernization, it discusses the ways and methods of protection and development of Chinese traditional architecture in the process of urbanization.
