世界一流大学或一流学科建设不能离开优秀的大学文化,优秀的大学文化必能塑造"双一流"的文明成果。"双一流"建设需要塑造大学文化空间就在于普适性文化构成"双一流"的内在基因,差异性文化构成"双一流"的特色因子;自由文化乃孵化"双一流"的养分,理性文化是指引"双一流"前行的明灯,卓越文化决定"双一流"品质的高低;民族文化是孕育"双一流"的母体血脉,区域文化构成"双一流"的支撑点,自我文化组成"双一流"的特色气质。大学只有以其文化为使命,大学才能世代传承、久传不衰,并能照亮世俗、启航文明;大学只要塑造出一流的文化空间,其"双一流"建设进程就能水到渠成。
