The postgraduate education mode in Queensland University of Technology deserves to be referred to involving the flexible application requirements,the clear education aim,the guidance of a supervisor team,the practical coursework,the training of research ability and the rigorous standards of degree-awarding. The postgraduate education mode plays a vital role in the education system. In order to improve the quality of postgraduate education in China,it is necessary to refer to the postgraduate education model of overseas high level universities when the scale of postgraduate education system in China is being expanded. There are several points which are needed to be concerned. Firstly,the practicability of coursework needs to be strengthened in order to train students＇ practical ability. In addition,in order to improve the quality of student＇s research,it is necessary to conduct the supervisor team to support the student. Lastly,it is essential to focus more on student＇s research ability and provide adequate research resources and good research environment.
